Will the chemical treatments harm my pets?

Not at all. The amount of active ingredient we apply to the treatment is very small. For peace of mind, we recommend you keep your pets out of the way while the spray is being applied.

How long will a spider or cockroach treatment last?

This depends on a few varying factors like climate conditions, but you can expect it to last at least 3 months.

Termite Removal

I’ve found some termites, what do I do?

Pick up the phone and call us! And in the meantime, leave them alone. Often if you interfere with them, spray them with fly spray, or try to kill them in other ways, you’ll move them to another area of your property. Don’t disturb them and you’ll be better off for it.

Do termites only attack old homes?

Nope! Termites will attack and eat anything that contains cellulose. Even homes that are still under construction can be susceptible to termites. Unlike a good vintage wine, age doesn't matter.

Is it true that if I have black ants outside, I won’t have termites?

Unfortunately not. While termites and black ants are known archenemies, one won’t necessarily keep the other away.

What’s the difference between termites and white ants?

There’s actually no difference. Termites are sometimes incorrectly referred to as ‘white ants’, simply because of their colour, but in fact they’re not ants at all.

How long does a termite inspection take?

This will depend on the size and structure of your property, but on average, our termite inspections take about 1 hour. Have a look at our inspections page for more details.
